Our Purpose Statement and Reason for Existing is:

(1)  To bring people to Jesus and membership in His Family.

(2)  To develop them to Christ-like maturity.

(3)  To equip them for their individual ministry within the body of Christ.

(4)  To equip them for life's mission in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and in all the World.


This is all done to bring the glory of God the Father and to magnify the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our Church History

Turning Hearts Church was founded on June 6, 2010, by our

 Senior Pastor Virgil K. Thomas, Sr. We are a doctrinally sound church that

has been planted in order to plant other sound churches here in the Washington Metropolitan area and throughout the world.

Our Doctrinal Statement:

We are partners with the SBC of Virginia.
